It's wouldn't be unusable but I don't see it as an improvement over the "De" logo that currently exists. I think you're right about the English language logo as well, so perhaps the bar isn't set very high. Perhaps another issue with black letter is that it's not unique to German; being used in several languages into the 19th century. | |
