Infrequent visitor of this community; I came to see whether this suggestion had been made. I find it much easier to "decode" what the consituents of the logo are supposed to be. In the pure black version, I read it as a ?+B with a teaspoon of k. The desired ß association only came much later. On second thought: I guess the current glyph form does not the best job of "selling" the character.
